The Hidden Gem of Kelowna, BC
The Rutland neighbourhood encloses all the area between the Old Vernon Road-Mission Creek Greenway in terms of the north and south direction and Highway 97-Black Mountain in terms of west and east direction. The regional bus transport system has 4 active lines/routes that journey through all the different sectors of the neighbourhood. Rutland also offers the trifecta of education availability in the form of public schools:
Rutland Elementary School (RES, http://www.rle.sd23.bc.ca/Pages/default.aspx#/=)
Rutland Middle Schools (RMS, http://www.rms.sd23.bc.ca/Pages/default.aspx#/=) and Rutland Secondary School (RSS, http://www.rss.sd23.bc.ca/Pages/default.aspx#/=).
Rutland has a vast majority of green areas including local and regional parks . Some of the mentioned green spaces are used farming/crop plantation purposes and/or Golf & Country Clubs. Additionally Rutland is home to a variety of small-scale secondary malls (Orchard Park being the principal mall) such as: Plaza 33 (address: 301 Hwy 33), Willow Park (address: 590 Hwy 33) and Hollywood station (address: 763 Hwy 33). As observed, Rutland is a fast-growing developing neighbourhood that is not just attracting businesses but also attracting people interests (i.e. families want to live in Rutland).
